Peterborough Heritage Hunt 2021 East City logo

The Peterborough Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee launched its annual Heritage Hunt contest in August 2021. Small groups and individuals had a chance to test their knowledge of Peterborough’s architecture, and prizes were awarded for the correct identification of the most architectural elements on the clue sheet.

This year's contest included 36 architectural details on buildings in a defined area within the borders of Hunter Street East, Rogers Street, Maria Street and Engleburn Avenue. All details are clearly visible from public areas. There is a map of the Heritage Hunt area at the bottom of this page.

The City of Peterborough asks that during these challenging times, people enjoying the Heritage Hunt follow all Peterborough Public Health recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including physical distancing.

Thank you!
