The draft Official Plan is available for review and can be downloaded by clicking on the link below. The new Official Plan will shape how Peterborough grows and develops to 2041. Public feedback is critical to ensuring that the new Official Plan will serve the community well now and for years to come.

On August 20th and 21st, the City hosted four open houses to discuss the draft Official Plan. You may view the materials that were available at the open house at the links below. Scans of the comments and questions received at the open houses are also available.

Upcoming engagement opportunities

The City's Planning Division is hosting two open houses in September to provide a summary of public feedback received on the draft Official Plan and outline the respective changes to the draft policies. Residents and other interested parties are invited to drop-in at any time during the sessions listed below. Representatives of the City's Official Plan project team will be available to take your comments and answer questions.

Until September 20, 2019, the City will be conducting extensive community engagement to inform, consult and involve the community in the development of the new Official Plan. The process will also include consulting with a working group made up of representatives from the community and key stakeholder groups.
