Public feedback is critical to ensuring that the new Official Plan will serve the community well now and for years to come. You may view the latest draft Official Plan (June 2019 version) and "What We Heard" Report for the City's responses to the community's comments and questions received between July and September 2019 in the links below.

Planning Staff are continuing efforts to finalize a draft Official Plan to present to City Council.  Once comments are received from the Province, Planning Staff will work towards completing a final draft of the new Official Plan for additional community consultation and presentation to City Council later in the spring.

In the meantime, you can continue to provide comments on the draft Official Plan online or by writing to us using the mailing address at the bottom of this page. If you would like to participate in or keep up-to-date on the Official Plan Update process, please view the list of upcoming engagement opportunities below or subscribe to our blog for news updates.
