Welcome to the Peterborough Fire Services website. On behalf of the men and women of the Peterborough Fire Services, it is our sincere desire that you will find our website interesting and informative.

We are more than just an emergency response organization. We are available to help regarding questions about fire and life safety or if you need emergency planning information to keep you and your family safe.

Our core services include providing and supporting the three lines of defence regarding public fire and life safety:

• Public fire and life safety education
• Fire prevention and Fire Code enforcement
• Fire and emergency response

In addition, we are available to assist you with emergency planning to help you manage a situation such as a severe weather event or other general emergency.
