As of May 2021, a pilot program is underway to transport bicycles on buses on three routes. Each bus on routes 4, 5 and 8 has a bicycle rack installed on the front that can hold two bicycles. Cyclists are welcome to mount their bikes on these new bike racks, which will provide more options and flexibility to travel to their destinations. There is no additional cost to transport a bicycle on a Peterborough Transit bus that is part of the pilot program. Bicycles can not be transported on buses on other routes at this time. More details about how to use this service are on our rules and guidelines page.
