On March 6, President Trump paused the 25% tariffs on some Canadian goods.
On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump imposed 25% tariffs on all imports from Canada and Mexico, with the exception of Canadian energy, which will face a 10% tariff. In response, Canada immediately implemented a 25% tariffs on $30 billion worth of U.S. goods, with an additional $125 billion in tariffs set to take effect on March 25. These escalating trade measures will have a significant impact on businesses in Peterborough and beyond, particularly those reliant on cross-border trade.

The Canada Tariff Finder helps businesses check import and export tariffs for specific goods and markets, particularly in countries with which Canada has a Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
This tool provides:

- Side-by-side tariff comparisons for up to three countries or products
