Job Details

Act as ticketing software administrator for the Arts and Culture Division; complete the configuration and operation of ticketing software system. Execute terms of tenant agreements. Prepare financial reconciliations for games, concerts and events; pay invoices associated with games, concerts and events as per the purchasing by-law. Manage the Peterborough Memorial Centre’s (PMC) deferred GL accounts. Coordinate box office operations; develop and lead initiatives to enhance and provide effective customer service delivery, customer service implementation strategies and proactive communication to a diverse base of clients. Lead the Box Office team by providing day to day operational guidance to staff in the delivery of ticketing operations in the City of Peterborough. Oversee, and document the productivity and ongoing performance of new and existing staff. Participate in special Division and Corporate projects.

Qualifications

Requires an individual with a College Diploma in office/business administration or sports/recreation management and up to three years of related job experience, which includes ticketing operations, leading a staff team, financial management. Requires excellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to co-ordinate a large number of tasks at once and manage competing priorities, and experience with administering ticketing software. Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making skills and ability to work with minimal supervision. Flexibility regarding work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
