Job Details
Summer Day Camp and Park Staff are responsible for program planning, development and implementation of daily activities and direct supervision of day camp and drop-in park participants at the Peterborough Sport & Wellness Centre and Parks throughout the City.
Qualifications
We require candidates with experience working with children in a day camp, recreational program or sport setting and who demonstrate enthusiasm and a team approach to delivering quality children’s programming. HIGH FIVE® Certification would be an asset but is not required of applicants. Successful candidates will be required to obtain the training. As a condition of hire, candidates will also be required to complete Standard First Aid & Level C CPR/AED training and provide a criminal record clearance with vulnerable sector check.
Hours of work are anticipated to vary and will not exceed 40 hours/week. This vacancy is contingent based on COVID provincial and local public health restrictions and guidelines and the ability to run programs and/or office closures. Every effort will be made to keep you up to date with details.
