Job Details

The Special Event Monitor represents the Recreation Services Division by attending events, and supervising facilities outside of regular business hours. The Special  Events Monitor will be responsible for attending all special events at City Parks and for monitoring the usage of all outdoor sport field play and public parks after hours and on weekends throughout the City of Peterborough. The Monitor will ensure all users are aware of the policies and procedures for their event.

Qualifications

Requires experience in a recreation setting and special event. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, proven decision-making skills, advanced customer service skills.  Must have current standard first aid and CPR level C certificate and comfortable working alone. Must have reliable transportation to fulfill the duties of the position.

This position will be from April 24 to August 31 with 24-35 hours per week. Must be available to work weekends and split shifts.

Hourly Rate

$17.25
