Job Details
The Recreation Administrative Manager is responsible for leadership within the Recreation Services Division with focus on leading and providing oversight of the recreation administrative services and operations, including all customer services, financial, membership, permitting and facility booking services. They are the Division lead on customer service metrics, financial and legal agreements, and sport league partnerships.
Qualifications
Requires an individual who has a minimum four (4) year University Degree in Business, Recreation or Facility Management, with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in administrative, customer, or facility management in a Municipal setting, preferably in a unionized environment.
Has a working knowledge of administrative, financial, customer and facility booking processes, and Occupational Health & Safety. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proven experience in customer service, communications, planning and organization, and report writing. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, ability to interpret collective agreements and other legal agreements. Budget, administration, customer, and facility booking experience is a requirement of the position. Class G license and access to a reliable vehicle. Certification in Standard First Aid, Level C CPR and AED is considered an asset.
Salary: $101,002 - $110,410
