Join us on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Beavermead Park & Ecology Park

The City of Peterborough is celebrating the work the municipality and community partners are doing toward environmental and climate action by hosting the inaugural Environmental and Climate Action Expo (EnviroX) on September 23, 2022. EnviroX will be an opportunity for residents to learn about initiatives and projects that are achieving greenhouse gas emission reductions and greater environmental sustainability since the declaration of the Climate Change Emergency in 2019. Under the Climate Emergency Declaration, the City committed to protecting the community, its economy, and ecosystems from the damaging impacts of climate change.

About EnviroX

EnviroX will include displays and demonstrations from different City departments and community organizations. The event is free to attend, and will have a family-friendly atmosphere as well as a chance to ask staff questions about how Peterborough is tackling climate change issues. EnviroX will proceed rain or shine. Public health measures will be in place.
