Job Details

Provide administrative support to the Building Division in relation to the permitting process. 


Knowledge and experience normally associated with a college diploma in office admin, legal administration or related along with up to one year related experience, including knowledge of construction practice, the Ontario Building Code and the application process.  Familiarity with the Ontario Fire Code and local development policies would be considered an asset.  This position requires excellent communication skills with a focus on quality customer service.  Requires the ability to work well with a variety of different staff in a team environment.  Attention to detail, follow up and research skills are also required in addition to strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.

For long term temporary assignments, we currently offer the following:

Rate of Pay: $28.54-$30.29

Hours of Work- This is an up to 18-month contract union position that works 35 hours per week.
