Engineering Services
Engineering Services includes the City's engineering team, construction coordinators, and Public Works with its road maintenance, parks maintenance, garbage collection and winter control activities.
Planning Division
Planning Division provides planning activities such as the development and implementation of the City's Official Plan as well as reviews development applications in terms of planning and engineering considerations.
Infrastructure Management
Infrastructure Management activities include asset management, climate change action coordination, geomatics/mapping, urban forestry, wastewater collection coordination, stormwater systems planning, watershed planning, and water resources and development engineering.
Building and Enforcement Division
Building and Enforcement Division activities include building permit application plans reviews and property standards by-law enforcement.
Environmental Services
Environmental Services activities include landfill operations, recycling, wastewater collection, a water testing laboratory, and the wastewater treatment plant.
Transportation
Transportation activities include Peterborough Transit, parking operations, transportation network planning, and transportation infrastructure.
Peterborough Municipal Airport
The Peterborough Airport is home to an aviation-related employment park, services for recreational pilots, charter flight businesses and aviation education.
Real Estate and Business Development
Real Estate and Business Development administers the acquisition, disposition, easements, encroachments, rights of way, real property land interests and economic development of City-owned property.
