Job Details

Serve as the primary contact for Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre (PSWC) members and patrons and is responsible for the exchange of information between staff and members of the public. Greet and direct incoming patrons and ensures proper processing using the membership database system. Accept facility payments, maintain cash float and prepare daily balance report. Monitor facility capacity numbers for fitness, program and aquatic areas ensuring safety guidelines, policies and procedures are adhered to.

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience normally associated with the completion of Secondary School Diploma with a minimum of 3 months related or on-the-job experience.  Proficient in the use of computers including: basic knowledge of Word and database programs in addition to basic mathematical skills; knowledge of database software is considered an asset. Requires excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated commitment to customer service. Must have the ability to multi-task and to maintain focus in a frequently distracting environment. First Aid, CPR & AED certifications are required.

This position will be scheduled during the facility hours of operation Monday to Friday 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday and Sundays 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., working a variety of different shifts between 3-24 hours per week.

Hourly Rate

$17.88
