Job Details

Provide administrative, financial, technology and procedural support to the Engineering and Capital Works and Asset Management and Capital Planning Divisions. Includes works related to Construction Contract Administration, Master Plans, Studies, and other required Divisional works.

Specific focus is developing processes and providing administrative support related to procurement and contract administration for Construction Projects, Master Plans, Studies, and other required Divisional works.

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience normally associated with a completion of a 2 year college diploma in contract administration, business, project management, engineering or related field plus a combination of 4 years of related experience.  Requires an advanced level of office related computer skills; word processing, spreadsheets, project management, report writing and presentation software in addition to a demonstrated understanding of accounting and database software. Must have demonstrated acumen dealing with sensitive or confidential matters. Must have the ability to develop efficient information and data management processes to support the divisions functions. Must have well developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Must have demonstrated ability to resolve contentious issues and deal with incensed customers. Must have strong organization and time management skills, the ability to manage competing priorities and the ability to coordinate several tasks at one time. Must have proven ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision. Must be a team player with demonstrated commitment to customer and community service.  Must have demonstrated ability to research, extract, present and utilize information and materials related to the Divisions operational needs and processes.

Salary

$65,577.10-$68,770.08
