Building Division Records Management Assistant

Job Details

To support the Building Division’s records management needs, including but not limited to increasing the division’s compliance with corporate records management standards, providing assistance with new projects from a records management perspective, assisting division staff in understanding records procedures, and taking on the role of records management lead in the building division, under the direction of the Records Management Specialist.


 Knowledge and experience normally associated with a certificate or diploma or other related education or experience in Architectural Technologist, Construction Engineering Technician or Building Design Technician with 6 to 9 months related experience. Able to review drawings/blueprints and apply information into indexing scans. Strong knowledge of SharePoint and 0365 including: creating sites, subsites, pages in SharePoint, creating and maintaining Libraries in SharePoint. Experience working with databases such as Amanda would be an asset. Ability work alone or part of a team with good communication and organizational skills. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
