Take Notice that the City of Peterborough has received the following application and pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, c.P.13: the General Committee will hold a public meeting in the Council Chambers, City Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2019:

Map showing location of Z1905The applicant proposes to amend the zoning of the lands from the R.1 - Residential District to a modified R.2 – Residential District to permit the use of the lands for a new semi-detached residential dwelling with two dwelling units and associated driveway and parking area. Exceptions to the regulations are proposed to permit a reduced minimum building setback of 4.4 metres from London Street; reduced minimum building setbacks of 2.8 metres to a dwelling unit and 1.3 metres to a covered concrete step from Downie Street. A further exception to permit the pillar and roof of the covered step to be located within 21.3 metres from the intersection of the centre lines of Downie and London Streets is also proposed.
