Community Wellbeing Plan – Discussion over Dinner

Event date: Thursday, November 30, 2017, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: 185 King Street, Peterborough

The first event to discuss possible activities for the Community Wellbeing Plan will be a “Discussion over Dinner” on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 5 – 8 p.m. at 185 King Street.  After reviewing 950 surveys living standards, healthy populations and community engagement are emerging as possible priorities. 

The Community Wellbeing Plan invites all interested residents from the City and County of Peterborough to join the “Discussion over Dinner” to share ideas about how to improve local employment and income. The event is free but people are asked to register by phone 705-742-7777 x1477 or online via the website at 

Residents are also encouraged to sign up for email updates at to receive invitations to the in-person events where we will prioritize and develop action items. 

The final plan, anticipated in 2018, will provide recommendations to City and County Councils regarding 3 to 5 key local government actions to be completed over the next 3 – 5 years to improve the quality of life for local residents.
