2019 Community Grants Information Session

The Community Grant Program application process opens Wednesday, October 17, 2018.

A Community Project Grant information session will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Community Services, 210 Wolfe St. in the Auditorium from 5 - 6 p.m.

The City of Peterborough invites any not-for-profit group or association in the City that would like to be considered for the Community Grant Program in 2019 to complete an online Community Project Grant or Community Investment Grant application before the deadline of December 7, 2018 at 3 p.m.

The purpose of the Community Grants program is to provide financial assistance to non-profit, community-based organizations that provide direct programs, services, or activities that enhance the quality of life for Peterborough residents in the areas of social services and health, arts, culture, heritage, recreation, or the environment. Council annually sets aside funds to be allocated to various groups within the City of Peterborough.

The 2019 application process and grant guidelines are available online.

  • For Community Project Grant applicants: Applications are to be submitted online only.
  • For Community Investment Grant applicants: Applications are to be submitted online, and a signed original and eight (8) copies stapled and hole punched submitted to the Community Services Department.
