Feb, 05 Public Input Sought in Peterborough Transit Study
 The City of Peterborough is undertaking a study that will include a Transit Route Review, a Long Term Growth Strategy for the Transit System, and a plan for the Downtown Transit Terminal. The first part of the study, the Transit Route Review, is now underway. Come to a drop-in meeting on February 5, 2019 to share your ideas.

Mar, 10 Time to change your clocks and the batteries in all smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
 Clocks will spring forward an hour at 3 a.m. on Sunday, March 10. Peterborough Fire Services is recommending residents install new batteries in their smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms when they adjust their clocks.
Mar, 17 Skating on the Canal 2019
 Trent Severn Waterway and the City Peterborough are pleased to offer public skating on the Canal below the Peterborough Lift Lock - weather-permitting. Ice conditions are monitored regularly and a flag indicates the status. The flag is currently red - skating is not permitted.

Apr, 01 Winter Parking Restrictions
 To assist snow clearing operations, winter parking restrictions are now in effect in the City of Peterborough. From December 1st to April 1st, parking is prohibited on all City streets from 2 a.m. – 6 a.m. During a snowstorm, when snow-clearing operations are underway, no stopping of a vehicle is permitted on any city street.
