Accessibility at the Wellness Centre

• Accessible parking
• Ramp access into the building, along with heated sidewalks.
• A Family change room with individual stalls and an oversized change stall for individuals with disabilities that require assistance.

• The Family Changeroom has a ceiling lift, ask the front desk for use of the lift. An assistant will be required. The Wellness Centre does not provide assistance with use of the lift. The lifting capacity is 200kg (440 lbs).

• Water wheelchairs available (armrest, padded sling seat, wheel lock, padded backrest, flip-up footplate).

• Accessible washroom on the pool deck with a shower.

• Therapy pool has a wheelchair ramp accessibility and swirl-pool with therapeutic jets.

• Leisure pool temperature has a pool lift (Pal portable aquatic lift), lifting capacity 181kg (400 lbs), dual flip up arm rests, flip up footrest, adjustable lap belt.

• Push button door accessibility.
