Seeking Volunteers for Live Streaming of Council Meetings

The City of Peterborough live streams its meetings of Council on the Internet to enable residents to view the meeting proceedings remotely.  We are currently looking for volunteers to become involved in assisting with the production of these live streaming events.

Most meetings are held on Mondays, and would require the volunteer to arrive at 5:30 p.m. (for preproduction) and stay to the conclusion of the meeting (generally by 9:30 p.m., although times will vary).

Individuals with a background/interest in the technical aspects of video production, and or media would be an asset.  Training will be provided.

This is an excellent opportunity to volunteer, learn more about local government, and become involved in live streaming Council meetings.

If you are interested in this opportunity you may obtain an application form at the City Clerk’s office, City Hall, 500 George Street, Peterborough, or you may apply online. Please return the completed application to the contact noted below no later than Friday, July 22, 2016.  An interview may be required.
