ROCK THE ICE IV RETURNS TO THE PMC
The Peterborough Memorial Centre together with Spotlight Productions are proud to announce the return of “Rock the Ice” to the Peterborough Memorial Centre on Wednesday, February 6th, 2013.
Armed with three World Champions for one night only, World Champion Elvis Stojko, four-time World Champion Kurt Browning, and World Champion Jeffery Buttle, these guys know how to Rock the Ice! This year marks the fourth edition of this exclusive Peterborough ice extravaganza. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 12th, 2012 at 9:30 a.m.
For Spotlight Manager and Artistic Director Jennifer Weiss, the decision to return to the Memorial Centre was easy. "Over the past three years, Peterborough has exceeded our expectations on so many levels. We have the perfect venue, the perfect team and fans who sincerely appreciate the quality and relevance of our world-class show. It's a great feeling knowing that an entire community has embraced Rock the Ice from day one!"
New, modern group numbers, spectacular special acts and a dash of wit, the combo of Stojko, Browning and Buttle promises to deliver the artistic and athletic diversity that has become this show's trademark. "Canada has such a fantastic history of men's figure skating and these three guys in particular project such different styles on the ice”.
"We are thrilled about Rock the Ice IV. With record-setting crowds in 2012 we can only imagine what 2013 will bring! It's great to see our city taking advantage of the opportunity to experience skating legends performing live in this spectacular show. It really is a privilege that Peterborough has become 'home' to Rock the Ice!" said Sue Warrington, Arena Division Manager.
