Peterborough Public Library Moves to Temporary Location at Peterborough Square

Event date: Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 5:00 PM to 5:00 PM

The Peterborough Public Library is about to undergo a major renovation to the Main Branch on Aylmer Street. The library will close to the public on Saturday April 30, 2016 at 5:00p.m. The Main Branch will not be accessible to the public during the closure. The Library anticipates the temporary location will open its doors on the lower level of Peterborough Square on May
19, 2016.

During the two weeks that the library is closed, the DelaFosse branch, at 729 Park Street South, will have extended hours: Monday-Thursday 10:00am-8:00pm, Friday-Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm and closed Sunday. Library patrons are advised that no library material will be due during the time of the closure. Please hang on to borrowed items until the library
reopens in May.

This renovation will make necessary maintenance improvements to the building, as well as meet the changing information needs of the community. Details and updates about the Peterborough Public Library renovation are available on the library website www.peterborough.library.on.ca or the renovation site at www.pplmoves.blogspot.ca.
