Map showing location of File Z1801 and File Z1803Take Notice that the City of Peterborough has received the following applications and pursuant to the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, c.P.13, the General Committee will hold a public meeting in the Council Chambers, City Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018, to consider the following applications under Section 34 of the Act:

1. File: Z1801
Affected Lands: 1341 Water Street
Applicant/Owner: Triple T Holdings Ltd.


The applicant proposes to amend the Zoning from the A1 – Rural District in the Township of Smith Zoning By-law 1971-17 to a modified R.5 – Residential District and to include the identified floodplain and buffer lands as subject to the (F) Flooding suffix. The amendment is intended to permit medium density, multi unit residential use of the developable lands. The applicant proposes the construction of 3 apartment buildings with a total of 96 dwelling units and associated parking, driveway and landscaped space, in accordance with site specific regulations.

Affected Lands: Part of 300 Hunter Street East
Owner: City of Peterborough
Applicant: City of Peterborough Planning Division


The City of Peterborough is proposing to amend the Zoning on part of Peterbrough Museum and Archives Property by adding PS.2 – Public Service District to the existing zoning of PS.1 – Public Service District and OS.2 – Open Space District. The amendment is intended to facilitate a potential future land conveyance to the adjacent King George Public School property and the construction of a new elementary school on that property.
