Take Notice that the City of Peterborough has received the following applications and pursuant to the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, c.P.13, the General Committee will hold a public meeting in the Council Chambers, City Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018, to consider the following applications under Sections 17 and 34 of the Act:

Affected Lands: 959 Chemong Road
Applicant/Agent: Joe Widjaja, Sovereign Asset Management Inc.

The applicant is proposing to amend the Official Plan designation on Schedule ‘L’ – Downey West Secondary Land Use Map, from ‘Low Density Residential’ to ‘Local Commercial’ and to amend the Zoning of the subject lands from the SP.129 – Special Commercial District, to a modified C.1 – Commercial District Zoning with site specific regulations to permit the redevelopment of the lands for local commercial uses including a proposed drive-thru restaurant.

The applicant is proposing to amend the Zoning from the R.1 – Residential District to a modified R.2 – Residential District to recognize the existing two (2) unit dwelling with site specific regulations reflecting the existing building and lot.
