Notice: Planning Committee Meeting November 21, 2016

Take Notice that the City of Peterborough has received the following application and pursuant to the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, c.P.13, the Planning Committee will hold a public meeting in the Council Chambers, City Hall at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, November 21st, 2016, to consider the following application under Section 34 of the Act:

Affected Lands: 1230 Lansdowne St. W. and Part of 740 Clonsilla Ave.
Owners: Karco Investments Inc / Peterborough Speedway Ltd.
Applicant: 835288 Ontario Inc.
Agent: Peter Lawless, LLF Lawyers LLP

The applicant is proposing to amend the Zoning of the lands from the SP.268-166 and C.4 Zoning Districts to a modified C.7- – Special Purpose Retail Zoning District, to permit the use of the lands for a large format retail use (Mark’s Work Warehouse) with associated parking and landscaping, in keeping with the Special Purpose Retail policies of the Official Plan.
