Notice: Planning Committee Meeting May 24, 2016

Take Notice that the City of Peterborough has received the following applications and pursuant to the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, c.P.13, the Planning Committee will hold a public meeting in the Council Chambers, City Hall at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, to consider the following applications under Section 34 of the Act:

The applicant is proposing to amend the zoning of the property to a modified SP.52 – Special Commercial District, to permit an expanded range of local commercial uses, including a Florist Shop.

The applicant is proposing to amend the PS.2 – Public Service District Zoning , to redevelop the lands to replace the existing building and construct a new 3 storey building to support a Crisis Care Shelter, in addition to 15 residential suites and supporting office and common space.

Address: 1119 Clonsilla Avenue
Owner/Applicant: 1494282 Ontario Inc. / Annabel Braganza

The applicant is proposing to amend the R.1,1m,2m – Residential Zoning District to include an Exception to permit a small scale clinic; small scale office and a personal services establishment use in addition to the permitted residential use, in accordance with the local commercial policies of the Official Plan.

may attend the above Public Meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the Amendment (please quote the file numbers).

Be Advised
that if a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Peterborough in respect of the proposed applications before the zoning by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of City of Peterborough Council to the Ontario Municipal Board.

Be Advised
