Take Notice that the City of Peterborough has received the following applications and pursuant to the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, c.P.13, the Planning Committee will hold a public meeting in the Council Chambers, City Hall at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2016, to consider the following applications under Section 34
of the Act :

The applicant is proposing to amend the zoning of the subject lands from the R.1,1m,2m,4e – Residential District and the R – Residential District (Smith Township Zoning By-law) to a Site Specific Special Residential District to permit the development of the lands for a two storey multi unit residential apartment building with a maximum of 20 units, and associated parking and landscaping, on full municipal servicing.

The applicant is proposing to change the zoning of the land from the D.1 – Development Zoning District to the R.1 – Residential Zoning District to recognize the existing use of the property for a single unit dwelling and to facilitate an
addition to the dwelling in accordance with the regulations of the R.1 – Residential Zoning District.

Any Person may attend the above Public Meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the Amendment (please quote the file numbers).

Be Advised that if a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the 2016-06-13 Planning Committee Meeting Map
public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Peterborough in respect of the proposed applications before the zoning by-law(s) is/are passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of City of Peterborough Council to the Ontario Municipal Board.

Be Advised that if a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Peterborough in respect of the proposed applications before the proposed zoning by-law(s) is/are passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are
reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
