Notice: Planning Committee Meeting August 29, 2016

Take Notice that the City of Peterborough has received the following application and pursuant to the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, c.P.13, the Planning Committee will hold a public meeting in the Council Chambers, City Hall at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2016, to consider the following application under Section 34 of the Act:

Affected Lands: 124,130,134, 150, 270 and 290 Jameson Drive
Applicant: City of Peterborough
The City has initiated a Zoning By-law Amendment to add an Alternative Regulation (18b) to the M2.1 Prestige Industrial Zone to reduce the Minimum Building Area requirement from 1500m2 to 740m2 to recognize existing smaller scale developments and facilitate the ability for current or future owners of the subject properties to construct smaller buildings if needed.

Any Person may attend the above Public Meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either inMap for August 29 2016 Complete Application and Public Meeting support of or in opposition to the Amendment (please quote the file number).

Be Advised that if a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Peterborough in respect of the proposed applications before the proposed zoning by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of City of Peterborough Council to the Ontario Municipal Board.

Be Advised that If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Peterborough in respect of the proposed applications before the proposed zoning by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.

If you wish to be notified of the passing of the proposed zoning by-law of the City of Peterborough Council, you must make a written request to the City Clerk at the address below.
