Heritage Trade Show

On Saturday April 7, 2018, the Peterborough Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee, in conjunction with the City’s Heritage Preservation Office, will be hosting a heritage trade show to connect owners of heritage properties throughout the city with tradespeople and contractors who specialize in heritage buildings.

Owners of heritage properties are invited to attend this free drop-in event which is being held between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the McDonnel Street Activity Centre at 577 McDonnel Street. In addition to the trade show, the Heritage Preservation Office will also be holding short seminars throughout the day to advise owners of properties in the Avenues and Neighbourhood Heritage Conservation District about the alterations application process and heritage grant program.

The seminars will take place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. and will last approximately half an hour. Staff will also be available throughout the day to answer questions. Opening remarks will take place at 10:45 a.m.

The McDonnel Street Activity Centre is fully accessible and has parking on site.
