Council Appointments of Citizens to Boards and Committees


If you are interested in serving on a City Board or Committee, you may obtain an application form at the City Clerk’s office, City Hall, 500 George Street, Peterborough, or complete the online application.

Applications are due Friday, December 14, 2018.

An interview may be required. Council may receive more applications than there are appointments available; therefore, we take this opportunity to thank you for your interest.

  • Arenas, Parks and Recreation Committee - 1 Appointment for 4 years - to 2022 Arts,
  • Culture and Heritage Advisory Committee - 6 Appointments for 4 years - to 2022
  • Cenotaph Advisory Committee - 1 Appointment for 4 years - to 2022
  • Committee of Adjustment - 5 Appointments for 4 years - to 2022
  • Community Investment Grant Advisory Committee - 10 Appointments for 2 years - to 2020
  • Museums and Archives Advisory Committee - 2 Appointments for 4 years - to 2022
  • Peterborough Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee - 2 Appointments for 4 years – to 2022
  • Peterborough Public Library Board - 5 Appointments for 4 years - to 2022
  • Police Services Board - 1 Appointment for 4 years – to 2022

All appointments made to 2022 shall continue to the end of the year or until the appointment of the new members.
