Jan, 01 2012 Winter Parking Restrictions
 To assist snow-clearing operations, winter parking restrictions are in effect in the City of Peterborough from December 1, 2011 through to April 1, 2012.
Jan, 01 Public Skating at the Peterborough Lift Lock
 The City of Peterborough and the Trent-Severn Waterway National Historic Site of Canada jointly present public skating at the Peterborough Lift Lock. The canal is open January 1, to the end of February (Weather Permitting).
Jan, 02 City Services During the 2011 Holiday Season
 Many City facilities will remain closed from noon on December 23, 2011 until Tuesday, January 3, 2012, including City Hall, Social Services, and City of Peterborough Day Cares.
