An Update to the Plan

VISION 2010: A Strategy Plan for Recreation, Parks and Culture was released in January 2001. It produced a desired picture of the future of the city of Peterborough and a long-range vision in terms of community recreation, parks and arts and cultural services. The partners in the initiative include:

•  Peterborough County-City Health Unit
• Trent Severn Waterway
• Otonabee Region Conservation Authority
• Trent University
• Sir Sandford Fleming College
• Peterborough Family YMCA
• Peterborough Social Planning Council
• Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board
• Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board
• Province of Ontario - Ministry Representation

The 2001 plan was updated in 2007 and a new report is now available. The 2008 version of VISION 2010 includes a series of strategies that cover the period of 2008-2010. The report is available for your review. Click here to review your copy.
