Facility Rules and Regulations
- Each person using the Centre shall conduct himself/ herself in a responsible, courteous, and safe manner at all times.
- Bicycles, skateboards, roller-skates, and roller blades and heelies are prohibited within the Centre.
- Smoking and the use of chewing tobacco are prohibited within the Centre and on the grounds surrounding the Centre.
- With the exception of working animals, pets are prohibited.
- Photographic devices are prohibited in all change rooms, washrooms and program areas.
- Card swapping is prohibited, card swapping will result in loss of membership.
- The Wellness Centre is a fragrance free facility. Please refrain from using scented products.
- Cell phone use is prohibited within the change rooms, washrooms, and program areas.
- Lockers are for day use only
The Fitness Centre
- Youth ages 13 - 14 must purchase the mandatory Jr.Get Started Program which allows them to utilize the Fitness Centre without family supervision.
- With the exception of water & water bottles, no food or drinks are allowed in the fitness centre.
- Only non-marking closed toe athletic shoes shall be worn in the Fitness Centre. Sandals are prohibited. Appropriate fitness attire is required.
- Personal belongings such as bags, jackets, purses etc. are not allowed on the fitness floor.
- Track is a walking track only.
- All equipment should be cleaned immediately after use.
- Show respect for equipment, facilities, and personnel at all times.
- Do not drop or throw weights. Misuse of equipment may result in immediate expulsion.
- Utilize spotters and collars when necessary.
- Return weights and accessories to their proper location, immediately after use.
- Olympic lifting (including explosive movements) is not allowed due to safety reasons
- Ask for assistance if you are unaware of how to use the equipment
- Immediately report any equipment irregularity to the Fitness Staff
Aquatic Centre
- Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied into the pool by a guardian who is 16 years or older and is responsible for their direct supervision.
- Lifeguards are to be obeyed at all times.
- Everyone must shower before entering the pools Regulation 565.s.15
- No person having a communicable disease or open sore on his/her body shall enter the pool.
- With the exception of water & water bottles, no food or drinks are allowed on the pool deck.
- No person shall pollute the water in any manner - including: spitting, spouting of water or blowing your nose in the pool or on the pool deck.
- No running or boisterous play in the pool or on the pool deck.
- All children not toilet trained must wear “little swimmers” when in the pool.
- No person shall use the pools that are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Bathing suit attire only. Street clothes not permitted.
- To utilize the water slide you may be asked to do a swim test.
