Peterborough Folk Festival

The Peterborough Folk Festival is a three day festival in the heart of the beautiful City of Peterborough.  With lots of music, workshops, food and craft vendors, there is lots to do and these events are friendly for all ages and abilities.  The main event takes place on the first Saturday in June at Nichols Oval Park.  Visit the Folk Festival online for more information or call Karen Taylor at 705-742-0381 or ktaylormusic@yahoo.ca


Peterborough Musicfest

The Peterborough Musicfest is an annual event for all ages held at Del Crary Park, on the shores of Little Lake beginning in late June and continuing every Wednesday and Saturday until the end of August.  There is also a special show on July 1st for Canada Day Celebrations.  Admission is free to all events and everyone is welcome.  For more information visit the website

Snofest Winter Carnival

The Snofest Winter Carnival is held each January at the Peterborough Museum and Archives. (Ashburnham Memorial Park - Armour Hill) The morning begins with a free pancake breakfast, and follows with many fun activities for the entire family.  After lunch, enjoy a free bowl of chili.  For more information call Terri Lynn Johnston at 742-7777 ext 1829.
