Q. Are coffee cups from coffee shops recyclable?
A. Yes. Paper coffee cups are accepted in the Paper recycling stream (lids off) and Styrofoam cups are accepted in the Container stream.

Q. How do I dispose of Styrofoam?
A. Household Styrofoam like plates, cups, trays, AND bulky packaging pieces can go in your Blue Box. This program is available to City residences only. Businesses can take Styrofoam directly to the Recycling Drop-off Depot at 390 Pido Road. The Recycling Drop-off Depot is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Styrofoam peanuts cannot be recycled.

Q. Can recyclables be placed in bags for curbside recycling collection?
A. Due to the fact that there is limited space in our recycling collection trucks, we request that you bring your bags of recyclables to the Recycling Drop-off Depot at 390 Pido Road. The Depot is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Q. My Blue Box is broken. What do I do?
A. Damaged blue boxes can be exchanged for free replacement at City Hall or at the Materials Recycling Facility at 390 Pido Road. Additional blue boxes are available for purchase for $5 at both locations. Hours operation are Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.
