Compost & Woodchips

The City produces high quality compost which is fully matured and screened to 1/2-inch and tested prior to selling. Even after screening, small woody bits will remain in the compost. Seeds and plants should never be planted directly in to the compost but always mixed with soil, as it is too strong on it’s own.

Woodchips are non-decorative chips, made up of a random blend of soft and hard wood, rough chipped to a non-uniform size of approximately 2 - 3 inches.
