
Two large article collection events per year are scheduled on the second Monday in May and the first Monday in October. For a fee, the City will pick up items larger than an
acceptable lift. Tags must be purchased in advance from the Public Works Yard (182 Townsend Street) or City Hall (500 George Street).
- Cost is $15 for the first item and $5 for each additional item.
- Tickets for the collection must be purchased by 4:30 p.m. on the Friday prior to the event.
- Building materials and automobile parts are not accepted; take these directly to the landfill
- For safety reasons, please remove all appliance doors and place them beside the appliance for collection.
