Check Out Our Senior and Stroller Friendly Buses
All regular Peterborough Transit routes now have fully accessible buses. These buses are easy to get on and off because they have no steps and they have a ramp for wheelchair and scooter users. The regular routes that serve Trent University and Fleming College have accessible buses, but all of the express routes have older style buses with steps. Click here for a complete list of wheelchairs and scooters which are able to board Peterborough Transit buses.
All passengers requiring accessible buses should call 745-0525 shortly before their trip to make sure there is one on their route when needed. Bus servicing needs do arise and sometimes result in a bus with steps servicing a regular route. 61% of the fleet is now comprised of low floor, accessible buses.
