GO Transit Information

GO Transit serves the Peterborough area with a coach service that links up with the GO train in Oshawa.  The GO bus stops at Trent University, Simcoe Street in front of the Peterborough Transit Terminal and at the Crawford Drive carpool lot.  Tickets and PRESTO cards may be purchased at the Peterborough Transit Terminal when the customer service window is open

PRESTO is an electronic payment system that makes travelling on GO Transit faster and easier by eliminating the need for tickets, tokens, passes and cash.  PRESTO cards are pre-loaded to a value that you set and can be used on GO Transit and across local transit services in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) and Ottawa, making paying for your trip simple, convenient and secure.  PRESTO cards cannot be used on Peterborough Transit.

GO single-ride tickets, day passes, and group passes may also be purchased directly from GO bus drivers.  For information about routes and schedules, contact GO Transit at 1-888-438-6646 or visit www.gotransit.com

GO Transit and Bicycles

GO Transit buses are equipped with racks for bicycles.  The GO Transit website provides information about when bicycles are permitted on GO trains.
