Potential Postal Disruption
August 9, 2016
Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers remain at the negotiating table, but not much progress has been made. While there remains the threat of a lockout or strike by either side, the 72 hour notice before any action appears to be our only opportunity to provide any notice to the public. At this time, Social Services continues to mail all payments and letters until further notice. We also have a plan to continue serving clients if there is a disruption in mail delivery. Read the plan and find out how it may affect you.
