Financial Assistance

If you qualify, Ontario Works can provide you with money to help you cover the cost of your basic needs (ie. food) & housing costs. The amount of money you may receive from Ontario Works will depend on your: 

 

  • family size
  • income
  • assets
  • and housing costs.

Deskside Orientation

A Desktop Orientation presentation is completed with all new applicants during the verification interview. It provides a brief overview of the Ontario Works program highlighting the client's rights and responsibilities and information regarding employment and financial assistance.
