Community Social Plan

What is the Community Social Plan?

The Community Social Plan is a community development and planning initiative aimed at improving the quality of life for residents of Peterborough County and City.  This is achieved by working with Municipal councils and staff, community organizations and residents to address social and community issues through coordinated effort and partnership.     

There are 11 priority areas identified in the Community Social Plan:

2. Access to Health
3. Accessibility
4. Child Care and Child Development
5. Community Involvement
6. Economic/Income Security
7. Environment
8. Food Security
9. Housing
10. Human Rights
11. Safe Communities
