When to Call 9-1-1

9-1-1 is an emergency reporting number for contacting Police, Fire and Ambulance Services. 9-1-1 should be used for emergencies only, such as serious medical problems, life threatening situations, fires or crimes in progress.
Do not call 9-1-1 during non-emergency situations. Rather, call the non-emergency administration number for Police, Fire and Ambulance, as follows:
