 The Online Application Process for 2018 Community Grants will open on October 10, 2017.

Information Sessions

Community Project Grant Applications:

A second and final information session is being held for new and returning Project Grant Applicants on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 5:30 pm in the Sutherland Room at 500 George Street North, Carnegie Annex at City Hall.

Community Investment Grant Applications:

A highly recommended information session will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 6:30 pm in the Sutherland Room at City Hall, 500 George Street North.

Application Information 

Please refer to the 2018 Community Grants Information & Guidelines. Funding is only for not-for-profit organizations conducting activities within the City of Peterborough.

PLEASE NOTE: In 2015, Council approved that "In Kind" Contribution can no longer be used as matching funds in the Project Grants Budget Form. 

The deadline for applications to be received at 210 Wolfe Street (Community Services Department) is Friday, December 1, 2017 at 3:00 pm.

  • The electronic application form must be used.  The submit button must be pushed once the application is completed.  After you have pushed the submit button you will be given an opportunity to print your application.
  • The completed application must be printed off and signed, then dropped off or mailed to the Community Services Department (210 Wolfe Street), along with eight (8) STAPLED & HOLE PUNCHED photocopies before the deadline.  (You must submit a total of 9 copies of the application - 1 signed original plus 8 copies of the signed original.)
  • Nine (9) copies of the most recent financial statement available must also be provided. This applies to Project Grant applicants as well as Investment Grant applicants. PLEASE STAPLE ALL DOCUMENTS TO THE APPLICATION AND HOLE PUNCH.

  • The application form includes automatic totalling on budget pages and automatic checklist review before final application submission. Please do not use commas or dollar signs on the budget pages. Please use zeroes when there is no amount to be filled in.  Do not leave spaces blank on the budget pages.
  • There are check boxes and questions that are mandatory and limits on the number of characters in responses to questions. (Blank spaces and line spaces will contribute to the character count.)
  • You will be asked to provide your website address, if applicable. Support material such as brochures, flyers and DVD’s are not accepted. If additional information is required, the evaluation committee will contact you.
