Below are the lists of names by conflict that have been collected by David Edgerton and his committee and reviewed for inclusion on the Peterborough Veterans Wall of Honour. Click on the conflict to bring up a list of names for that war. They appear in alphabetical order by last name. You may scroll through the list or click on the first letter of the last name on the alphabet at the top of each list.

The criteria for being included on the Veterans Wall of Honour are as follows (Veterans must meet the first criteria and any one of the second, third or fourth):
  1. The person must have enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces or the Merchant Navy during the time periods of 1914-1918, 1939-1946, 1950-1954 and have been assigned a Canadian service number or Officer's rank; and,

  2. The enlisted person must have been born in the City of Peterborough (the “City”) or Peterborough County (the “County”); or,

  3. The person must have enlisted in the armed forces in the City or the County, including those who came from other communities and enlisted in the City or the County; or,

  4. After discharge, the person must have moved to the City or the County prior to December 31st, 1970 and remained a permanent resident of the City or the County from that date forward.
When you find the name you are looking for, please check the spelling carefully. This is the name as it will be included on the Wall of Honour. If the name is correct you do not have to do anything. If the name is misspelled, or if you cannot find a name that you feel should be on the list, please contact:
