Kim – Curator, Peterborough Museum and Archives

I graduated from the Creative Arts Administration program at Fleming College in 1985. Upon graduating, I began working at the Peterborough Museum & Archives in various capacities from Registrar to Museum Technician. I was named curator in 1997.

During my career, I have been involved in the installation of more than 150 exhibits at the museum. Of those exhibits I have researched and designed more than 30 on subjects ranging from toys, architecture to Peterborough’s military heritage. I was also lead designer and carpenter for both long term gallery exhibits, which tell the rich history of Peterborough and its people.

I take great pride in protecting Peterborough’s heritage and telling the stories that lie waiting to be told through the use of the 35,000 artifacts that fill the museum. My person interests are sketching, painting, writing and photography.
