Trent Research and Innovation Park

The City of Peterborough, in partnership with Trent University, is developing the Trent Research and Innovation Park (TRIP). Located at Trent University along Pioneer Road and Ninth Line, TRIP is to become Canada’s premier green technology research and innovation site, hosting a cluster of companies and start-up enterprises in the fields of clean technology, environmental services, advanced material sciences biotechnology, medical and health products, agri-food and agri-business and information and communications technologies.

The City has prepared a Master Plan to guide the planning and development of TRIP over time. The Master Plan presents an overall planning vision for the Research Park and the principles that will guide decision-making for TRIP throughout its development.

Draft Plan of Subdivision

To facilitate the installation of roads, municipal services, and the creation of land parcels within the Park, the City of Peterborough is processing a plan of subdivision for the Trent Research and Innovation Park.
Subdividing the park will allow the City to create smaller parcels of land situated along municipal roadways that can be configured to meet the needs of prospective tenants.
