Competitive Bid Solicitation Process (Tenders, Quotes, Proposals)

Bid Opportunities

About bids&tenders

The City of Peterborough will begin to utilize bids&tenders™ as the digital procurement platform to advertise all competitive bid solicitations.

A subscription at bids&tenders™ will provide Vendors with unlimited access to register, manage their profiles and download all bid opportunities and includes automatic notifications of new bid opportunities, addenda, site meeting reminders and bid results.

To register, visit bids&tenders™ at www.bidsandtenders.ca.  Vendors may purchase an unlimited annual subscription for bids&tenders™ or, for those who do less bidding, pay a lower per-bid fee.  Bid documents can be previewed entirely online before payment is required.

When creating an account, Bidders select commodity code(s) for goods, services and construction and the system will notify the Vendor by email of any bid opportunities matching their commodity code selection.

In the fall of 2018, the City of Peterborough will begin offering e-bidding where bidders will then be able to submit bids entirely online through the bids&tenders™ platform.

All reasonable efforts to inform registered vendors of relevant bid opportunities will be made, but neither bids&tenders™ nor the City of Peterborough will be liable for any failure to do so.
